Assam Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

Eligibility Criteria For Assam Scholarship 2024 is set by the Departments that offer the Scholarship. In the table below one can check the Assam Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2024.

Post Graduate Research Fellowship, Assam	Students Must have a 55% above percentage in the previous exam. Student Must be enrolled in M.Phil/Ph.D./PG LLM/Post doctoral-level research from a recognized University.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Assam	Student Must have 60% attendance in the previous year. Students must be enrolled in classes 1 to 1 to 10. Annual Family Income should be less than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (Class 1 to 8), Assam	Schedule Tribe Students must be enrolled in classes 1 to 1 to 8. Annual Family Income should be less than Rs. 50000.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (Class 9 & 10), Assam	Students Must have 60% above percentage in the previous exam.
Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Assam	The OBC Students must be registered in the 11th class or postdoctoral level Education. Annual Family Income should be less than Rs. 1.5 lakh.
Post Matric Scholarship for ST Students, Assam	The Scheduled Tribe Students must be registered in the 11th class or postdoctoral level Education. Annual Family Income should be less than Rs. 2 lakh.
Means cum Merit Scholarship, Assam	Students Must have 60% above percentage in the previous exam. Student Must be enrolled in Degree Courses. Annual Family Income should be less than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
National Talent Search Exam (NTSE)	Students Above 18 years and studying in the 10th class can apply for the Scholarship. Any Student from any state can apply for the Scholarship.
Assam Foundation of North America Academics Scholarship	Student must have passed their higher secondary/ CBSE/ ISC/ Pre-University examination. Students enrolled in Bachelors Degree. Annual Family Income should be less than Rs. 50000.
Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles	Students Must have 60% above percentage in the previous exam. Wards and widows of CAPF and AR personnel, Ex-CAPFs and AR personnel, and retired personnel are eligible. These must be enrolled in Bachelors or related Degree.

Assam Scholarship 2024 Reward & Benefits

Assam Government Provides lots of scholarships which encourage students for further studies. Assam Scholarship helps Socially and Economically weak by providing Financial aid. Students can read the Scholarship Reward Under Assam Scholarship 2024.

• Combined Merit Scholarship – Under this scholarship Rs. 300 per month will be offered to Degree Courses whereas Rs. 500 per month will be rewarded to PG Course Students.
• Post Graduate Research Fellowship – For students pursuing the PG LLM course – Rs. 500 per month for students pursuing an MPhil course – Rs. 700 per month for students pursuing a PhD. – Rs. 1000 per month.
• Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Assam – For hostellers of class 3 to 10 – Rs. 500 per month for 10 months day scholars of class 1 to 10 – INR 100 per month for 10 months.  An annual ad hoc grant of Rs. 500.
• Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (Class 1 to 8), Assam – Students will be offered with Rs. 100 per month.
• Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (Class 9 & 10), Assam – Rs. 150 per month for day scholars and Rs. 350 per month for hostellers for 10 months books and ad-hoc grant of Rs. 750 per annum for day scholars and Rs. 1000 per annum for hostellers. Additional disability allowance of up to Rs. 240.
  
• Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Assam – Students will be offered with Rs. 750 per month for 10 months reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees study tour charges of up to Rs. 900 per annum. Thesis typing and printing charges of up to Rs. 1000 will be funded.
• Post Matric Scholarship for ST Students, Assam – Students can Rs. 1200 per month and an additional allowance of up to Rs. 240 per month to disabilities. Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees study tour charges of up to Rs. 1600 per annum and reward of Rs. 1200 for Books will also be offered.
• Means cum Merit Scholarship, Assam – Rs. 1000 per month paid as one-time assistance every year.
• National Talent Search Exam (NTSE) – Students of classes 11 and 12 – Rs. 1250 per month for studies at undergraduate or postgraduate level – Rs. 2000 per month for studies at PhD level – As per the norms of UG.
